Hamilton Capital Management’s Women’s Exchange will host an evening seminar for adult children and families facing the challenges of aging parents on Thursday, November 3 at the Franklin Park Conservatory.
Titled “Caring for Aging Parents,” the event will provide information and advice for both parents and children on addressing the financial, emotional and physical challenges of aging while ensuring the best possible quality of life for all.
“Nearly 10 million adult children over the age of 50 are caring for an aging parent,” said Hamilton Capital Financial Advisor Lisa Walls, CFP®. “While it’s a calling most feel compelled to answer, the stress, lost income and depletion of assets can have lasting impacts. Our goal with this event is to help families start a dialogue and begin planning before an urgent need arises.”
Walls will be one of the seminar’s presenters, along with Kathleen Carmody, president of Senior Matters Home Health Care.
The event will begin with a 5:30 p.m. reception at the Conservatory, located at 1777 East Broad Street, followed at 6:00 by the 90-minute program. Space is limited and registration is required.
