Hamilton Capital Management has promoted Jeff (Shengde) Liu, Srinath Sampath and Jeffrey G. Wilkins to the positions of Managing Director, Portfolio Management.

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and a member of the Columbus CFA Society, Liu has nearly 20 years’ experience as a portfolio manager, investment analyst and financial advisor, and worked extensively in portfolio modeling and asset management for local, national and international firms prior to joining Hamilton Capital.

Fluent in four languages, he holds master’s degrees in economics and international affairs from Ohio University and an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. He resides in Powell.

With over 17 years of experience in investments, statistics, and actuarial science, Sampath has an extensive background in institutional investing, mutual fund portfolio management, investing in distressed assets, asset/liability management, quantitative research, portfolio surveillance and risk management.

Previously a fixed-income portfolio manager for a Fortune 100 company, he holds Ph.D. and master’s degrees in statistics from The Ohio State University, a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Loyola College in Chennai, India, and an advanced diploma in systems management from NIIT, also in Chennai, India.

A CFA® Charterholder, Sampath is a published, award-winning researcher on a variety of statistical topics.

With more than 15 years of active investment and business leadership experience, Wilkins has directed the investment and management of a number of public asset classes, including U.S. mid-cap and Japan stocks, as well as led research into alternative vehicles like real estate and private-equity transactions.

An Upper Arlington resident, he holds an MBA with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude from the University of Arizona.
