Matthew J. Kirby has been promoted to the position of financial advisor at Columbus-based investment management and financial advisory firm Hamilton Capital Management, Inc.
Kirby, who previously served as an associate financial advisor, will continue to provide financial advisory and investment management services to Hamilton Capital clients and take on additional team leadership responsibilities.
Kirby recently earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. Earning the designation requires at least three years of qualifying full-time experience as a financial planner, successful completion of a CFP® Board-registered education program or equivalent, and a passing score on the 10-hour CFP® Certification Examination. The CFP® is the highest professional designation in the financial planning field.

Kirby joins a growing group of 13 CFPs at the firm. A Harrison West resident, he holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Denison University.
