Hamilton Capital Management will be serving as lead sponsor of BalletMet Columbus’ 2009 Dance With The Dancers party.

To be held February 28 at the corporate offices of Columbus-based retailer and event host-sponsor DSW, the annual fund-raiser will showcase and give attendees the exclusive opportunity to mix, mingle and dance with members of BalletMet’s professional dance company.

This year’s event, called the “Bootleg Bash”, will be presented in “nouveau speakeasy” style in anticipation of BalletMet’s upcoming World Premiere of The Great Gatsby.

According to event planning committee member and Hamilton Capital Management Financial Advisor Darcy Smith, the party will feature music, an open bar and food stations from a number of Columbus’ top restaurateurs. The event also will include live and silent auctions with advance online bidding. Several special performances by the BalletMet Company dancers will also energize the night.

“We’ve enjoyed a great relationship with BalletMet over the years, especially by being a close partner in support of Dance With The Dancers,” said Hamilton Capital President Jeff Loehnis, who serves as a BalletMet trustee and is event chair for the planning and promotion of this year’s party. “It’s always a fun and exciting evening – especially given the chance it provides for everyone to meet and dance with the company. They’re an exceptional group of world-class athletes and we’re pleased to support their work and the artistry they bring to our community as masters of their craft. The energy of this event has always attracted fresh interest in BalletMet.”

“We’re very pleased to have Hamilton Capital as an event sponsor and corporate supporter again this year,” said BalletMet Development Director Pam Bishop. “It’s a challenging time for arts organizations, and Hamilton’s support – and that of all our friends and sponsors – has never been more beneficial. We’re looking forward to a fun evening.”
