Becker Earns CFP Designation

Brian W. Becker of Columbus-based investment management and financial advisory firm Hamilton Capital Management, Inc., has earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
The CFP is the highest professional designation in the financial planning field. Earning the designation requires at least three years of qualifying full-time experience as a financial planner, successful completion of a CFP Board-registered education program or equivalent, and a passing score on the 10-hour CFP Certification Examination.
“Brian has shown a great deal of diligence in preparing for and successfully completing this rigorous exam and the board’s other certification requirements,” said Hamilton Capital Chairman and CEO R. Matthew Hamilton. “The knowledge and experience he’s gained are welcome assets to both our team and our clients.”
A total of 12 Hamilton Capital associates have achieved the CFP designation.
An associate financial advisor with the firm, Becker is responsible for assisting Hamilton Capital’s senior team in providing clients with financial advisory and investment management services.
A Lewis Center, Ohio, resident, he holds a bachelor’s degree in financial management from Franklin University.
