1. Investment Operations Associate

Primary Position Responsibilities 

·      Analyze investment options in held-away accounts and invest according to firm philosophy and investment strategies in alignment with client goals

·      Apply understanding of the trading details associated with the firm’s investment vehicles, including initial investment restrictions, share class differences and fees

·      Manage the daily oversight of the service team’s reconciliation of data from custodian(s) into our database

·      Manage and trouble-shoot held-away account aggregation errors

·      Act as back-up in all facets of  investment operations for team support


Position Requirements

·    A bachelor’s degree is required, or the equivalent combination of an associate’s degree and commensurate work experience.  Majors in Business, Finance, or Accounting are preferred

·      1-3 years of relevant experience required, with specific industry-related experience preferred.  Experience working with portfolio management software, databases, portfolio accounting, and/or trading preferred

·      Broad understanding of financial markets and economic fundamentals

·      Solid quantitative skills, excellent organizational skills, strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail,

·      Ability to think strategically about interconnections between processes

·      Thrives in an environment focused on continuous improvement

·      Excellent communications skills

·      Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products is required, with particular emphasis on Excel.  Candidates must also be able to quickly adapt to new technologies and learn industry-specific software.
